UCT Radio cares

31 July 2007

UCT Radio has generously donated radio airtime worth R8 300 for this year's Womens' Day Campaign, Show your Hands, Show your Heart.

From 23 July to 8 August, UCT Radio will be playing the advertisement twice a day in its popular breakfast and drive-time slots.

On 9 August, UCT Radio will also be sending out volunteers to the Little Angels Home in Tokai where the DJs will help to fulfil the charity's wish list. The home looks after babies that are brought in by destitute mothers, pregnancy crisis centres, hospitals, police or welfare organisations.

A total of 78 charities are involved in this year's campaign. Founding sponsor Nedbank, together with Mnet, Pick 'n Pay, and the Vodacom Foundation, lead the way in corporate involvement. Now, with the help from UCT Radio, great media coverage is guaranteed.

Show your hands and show your heart by giving a little of your time this Women's Day. Log onto www.wacd.co.za for more information.
