The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) annual Summer School kicks off today and will take place online – a first for the popular public education programme.

Summer School 2021 takes place from 11 to 30 January and is run by UCT’s Development and Alumni Department.

The programme offers a range of short courses, open to all regardless of educational qualifications. These courses are for non-degree purposes and do not involve examinations or certification, though written or practical projects and reading may be required.

Now in its 71st year, Summer School will offer its most popular courses and some practical courses live while participants will be able to complete the rest of the courses in their own time for the duration of the programme.

Tickets are available for purchase via Webtickets, and an online brochure and timetable are available for download.

For more information, please visit the Summer School website or email the team.
