On the event of Women’s Month, Advaita Naidoo, the Africa Managing Director for Jack Hammer Global, addresses the pressing issue of the dearth of female executives in South Africa. Naidoo emphasises the need for champions who represent and understand women, shedding light on unconscious biases that hinder progress.
Naidoo shares some practical steps needed to dismantle structural barriers, including the gender wage gap, and the importance of intentional inclusivity and strategic focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The wisdom shared by Naidoo is a call to action for women at all career stages to take up space and for senior leaders to pave the way for the next generation.
