The University of Cape Town (UCT) marked the contributions of its 2025 retirees during a special luncheon at Glenara, the vice-chancellor’s official residence, on Wednesday, 5 November.
Co-hosted by Vice-Chancellor Professor Mosa Moshabela and the chair of UCT Council, Norman Arendse SC, the event brought together staff whose careers span more than two, three and even over four decades of service.
The ceremony paid tribute to the individuals whose commitment, leadership and care have sustained UCT’s academic excellence and community life across generations.
