UCT’s report to the commission on funding higher education
On 8 July 2016 UCT submitted a report to the commission supporting the principle of a cost-sharing model to cater for the cost of public higher education, and showing the extent to which other stakeholders, including the corporate sector and university (through its own resources), contributes towards ensuring that poor and middle-class students are adequately funded.
