High jinks: The two Robbies - Fleck and Kempson - with their UCT kidnappers.

In the name of fun, the Sax Appeal magazine, and also to raise funds for the Students' Health and Welfare Centers Organisation (SHAWCO), students from UCT's Remember and Give (RAG) kidnapped two former springbok players, Robbie Fleck and Robbie Kempson, on the afternoon of 13 February.

They were then flown off to Cape Town International Airport, from where they were driven to the SHAWCO centre in Khayelitsha. Here they spent time with the dedicated members and staff who commit their lives to improving healthcare and education in the Western Cape.

"We are aiming to raise R1.5 million this year," says RAG's Tammy Skeat. "Kidnapping the two Robbies has been great, because they are extremely supportive to our cause."
