HIV/AIDS colloquium

A reminder that the HIV/AIDS colloquium, titled Living AIDS, takes place on November 15 and 16 in the Centre for African Studies (CAS) Gallery. Organised by HIV/AIDS Coordination-UCT (HAICU), the event will include sessions on HIV/AIDS management (November 15 at 09h00-11h00); HIV/AIDS research (Nov 15 at 11h15-16h00); HIV/AIDS teaching (November 16 at 09h00-14h40) and the HIV/AIDS Social Responsiveness Programmes (November 16 at 14h40-15h40). Justice Edwin Cameron will speak on HIV and AIDS-related stigma on Wednesday, November 15, at 13h00.

Holiday care for kids

Register your child(ren) now for UCT's Holiday-Care Programme, December 4 to January 16, 2007 (excluding the week between Christmas and New Year). The programme is aimed at children of school-going age, and the cost is R250 per child per week. Minimum period: one-week places are limited. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible. If you wish to enroll your child (ages 6-14) in the holiday-care programme, you can download the application form by clicking here.
