UCT honours its faithful

02 October 2006

Hats off to the stalwarts! At the annual Long-Service Awards luncheon on September 12, UCT again paid homage to the longevity of those staff members who have served at the university faithfully over recent decades. As usual, the special guests were those staff who have completed or, in 2006, will be completing 15, 25 and 35 years at UCT. Among those at this year's bash were (clockwise) Arawaan Duncan (25 years) and Grant Willis (25 years), both being congratulated by Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-Principal, Prof Martin West; and Tanya Barben (35 years) and Desmond Williams with Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Njabulo S Ndebele.
