UCT research suggests ways to better prepare nurses for dealing with death and dying
A new course is needed within the nursing curriculum to help nurses prepare for the reality of patients who die under their care, new research from the University of Cape Town reveals.

Education system needs our help
The Chancellor of the University of Cape Town, Mrs Graça Machel, has called on graduates in the School of Education, who were capped on Reconciliation Day, to address the many problems within the national education system and to help equip young people to prepare for the complex challenges of the 20th Century.
