On Thursday, 29 July, the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Residence Academic Development Committee (RADC) will host a webinar on academic success featuring guest speaker, Vice‑Chancellor Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng.

The webinar, titled “Academic and Professional Development: Insights on developing meaningful relationships within and beyond the university life” will take place between 17:00 and 18:00.

Professor Phakeng will share her insights on how students can develop themselves and cultivate meaningful relationships, socially and professionally, within and beyond their studies at the university. She will draw on her life experiences, and those gleaned as an academic and professional.

The aim of the webinar is to help students to develop meaningful academic, social and professional engagements, and show how these can shape their future.
