Applications are open for the 2026 cohort of the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Financial Innovation Hub’s (FinHub) pre-incubator programme, the GenesisBloc Launchpad.
This year’s programme will run from March to December and will be hosted by UCT’s FinHub and powered by the FirstRand Foundation and Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI).
The mission is to foster market-ready fintech and blockchain solutions by providing students with access to industry expertise, structured guidance, and essential startup resources through skill transfer. Cohort 3.0 focuses on unlocking financial inclusion through trust, innovation and inclusive growth across underserved and financially excluded communities.
Applications close on Friday, 27 February.
