Student death

Dear colleagues and students

It is with great sadness that the University of Cape Town announces the death of Dr Mark Samuel Gachau Theuri, who was reading towards his Master of Medicine degree in anatomical pathology in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Dr Theuri was a guest of the warden of Leo Marquard Hall at the time of his death.

Those who knew him speak highly of his warm and friendly personality and his dedication to his studies. Dr Theuri, who was from Kenya, is survived by his mother and siblings.

We convey our sincere condolences to the Theuri family, his friends and his colleagues.
