It fills me with immense pride and great excitement as I write to extend my warmest congratulations to the University of Cape Town (UCT) Ikeys Young Guns for their outstanding 42–29 victory over the University of Free State Young Guns in the FNB Varsity Cup Young Guns final.

UCT autumn graduation: Celebrating over 6000 graduands
The University of Cape Town will hold its autumn graduation ceremonies from Saturday, 28 March to Thursday, 2 April 2026. Across five days, we will confer degrees on approximately 6 185 graduands from all faculties, including those completing doctoral studies.
