As part of the celebrations, the university is also planning a number of events with the wide network of UCT alumni in South Africa and across the world. These events will serve as a platform for "creative conversation" with our alumni. In this way they will have opportunities to revisit and share their UCT experiences and to give their insights of UCT's role in South Africa and the world today.

Functions are being planned for the Western Cape, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Mauritius. Monday Paper will report on these events.
