December honorary doctorates

Four outstanding lawyers will receive honorary degrees from UCT in December.

These are Constitutional judge Justice Albie Sachs; Sir Bob Hepple, emeritus professor of law at the University of Cambridge; Justice Dennis Davis, a judge of the Cape High Court; and Professor Reinhard Zimmermann, who holds the Chair of Private Law, Roman Law and Comparative Legal History at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign Private and Private International Law in Germany.
