Threads of tradition: UCT celebrates diverse heritage

From the iconic Seanamarena blanket, to the vibrant colours of the Zimbabwean flag woven into intricate beaded jewellery, students from the University of Cape Town (UCT) offer personal stories behind their traditional attire. The students provide a glimpse of how the traditional pieces connect them to their roots while reflecting the rich, diverse heritage present within the UCT community.
