On 24 August 2019, University of Cape Town (UCT) first-year student, Uyinene Mrwetyana fell victim to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and was brutally murdered.
Four years after her untimely death, her brother Esona Mrwetyana shares some fond memories and reflections on her life; as well as an important message about the continued fight against SGBV.
