In this video, Pippa Skotnes, retired director of the Centre for Curating the Archive (CCA), and Fritha Langerman, current director of the CCA and Paul Tichman from the Art and Social History Unit at Iziko Museums reflect on their collaboration.
The CCA has pioneered an honours programme in curatorship. The Art and Social History Unit has joined in the delivery of the programme over the last eight years. Through this collaboration, students get access to thousands of collections at Iziko Museums and get exposure to international conservationist specialists. Another aspect of this is the planetarium with which the CCA has embarked on an international film festival.
