As part of its Vision 2030 goals, the University of Cape Town (UCT) launched its first online school on Wednesday, 21 July 2021. The UCT Online High School, a first for Africa, will offer top-level high school education to all high school students on the African continent.
The UCT Online High School creates a new opportunity for learners to choose an aspirational school regardless of their circumstances. It aims to level the playing field with an innovative education model.
