University of Cape Town (UCT) Libraries staff joined their executive director, Ujala Satgoor, outside the Jagger Reading Room for a moment of reflection and to remember the loss suffered after a devastating Table Mountain fire destroyed it on Sunday, 18 April.
The fire gutted the roof and destroyed the galleries, adjacent stores and offices, as well as archival and published print collections that were kept there.
