Update on evacuation of campus

Dear colleagues and students

All University of Cape Town students have been evacuated from campus by emergency services support staff. We have taken them to pre-determined locations. We will continue to work with and support Sanparks and the City of Cape Town to extinguish the fire.

Please stay safe first and foremost. We thank all emergency services support staff who have worked with the university, City of Cape Town and Sanparks thus far. As soon as more information becomes available we will share it.
