Under the Baobab: Essays to Honour Stuart Saunders on his Eightieth Birthday

The African Yearbook of Rhetoric, Vol. 2 No. 2, 2011 imprinted a special series in honour of Dr Stuart Saunders on his 80th birthday.

International personalities from a wide array of fields contributed to the publication. Bearing witness to Dr Saunder’s wide impact: Bill Bowen, former president of Princeton, renowned physician and scientist Kurt Isselbacher, Don Randel, former president of the Andrew Mellon Foundation, Mary Patterson McPherson Executive Officer of the American Philosophical Society, David Potter founder of Psion and a UCT benefactor, and former Chief Justice Arthur Chaskalson, among many in the arts and literature.

Anita Saunders contributed drawings and wrote the opening note.
