As part of the Development Dialogue (DD) process, professional, administrative support and service (PASS) staff should have had discussions with their line managers by 15 January 2020 regarding any concerns with their ratings outcomes.
In cases where consensus could not be reached, the staff member concerned should have submitted a written appeal to their dean or executive director by 20 January 2020. This deadline has now been extended to Friday, 24 January 2020, to afford staff more time to appeal their DD outcomes.
A copy of the appeal should be forwarded to the relevant human resources practitioner (HRP) servicing the staff member’s work area (department, unit, etc).
If the appeal is not resolved amicably by the dean or the executive director, staff members may submit, through their HRP, a formal appeal in writing to the director of Organisational Development and Effectiveness, for consideration by the Appeal Tribunal. The deadline for this is Friday, 7 February 2020.
