Eskom has announced in a power alert that stage 4 load shedding will again be implemented on Wednesday, 20 March 2019.

ICTS started bringing the Upper Campus data centre back online at 18:00 on Tuesday evening, 19 March. The UCT network and all major systems are expected to be functional by Wednesday morning. Updates will follow as needed regarding any services that are not fully operational. Please report any issues to the ICTS Helpdesk at x4500 or ICTS-helpdesk@uct.ac.za.

Please note: in order to conserve electricity, if you are the last person to leave a room, meeting room, toilet block or building, please ensure that all lights, air conditioners, fans and/or other appliances are switched off before you leave. This measure is especially important on the day before a public holiday or weekend.
