The fourth-years students from the Michaelis School of Fine Art have extended an invitation to the second and last Michaelis Silent Auction of 2017, which is being hosted by SMITH.

The evening will offer an opportunity to purchase works from renowned artists in South Africa, as well as young up-and-coming artists, within a space that attempts to make art more accessible from both inside and outside the Michaelis community.

The event is being held in order to fund not only the Michaelis fourth-year Grad Show but also to feed back into the Michaelis School of Fine Art in order to assist all art students.

The event takes place on Tuesday, 16 October, at the SMITH contemporary art gallery at 56 Church Street, Cape Town.

The auction begins at 17:00 and final bidding will take place at 20:45.
