The University of Cape Town will be closed on Wednesday, 21 October 2015

This closure is in response to the national student call for the government to deal with the funding crisis affecting all tertiary institutions.

The day will provide an opportunity for student protest, which must remain lawful and respect the rights of those who choose not to join the protest.
