Fellows Annual Dinner

From left: Dr Surita Roux, director of the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation's Emavundleni clinic in Crossroads, takes Patricia de Lille, Cape Town mayor, Roeland van de Geer, EU Ambassador and Michael Masutha, deputy minister of the Department of Science and Technology, on a tour of the clinic as part of the activities celebrating the European Union and South Africa's partnership in the area of research on 21 November 2013. The celebration started at UCT, where prominent researchers, among them Profs Valerie Mizrahi, Tim Noakes and Bruce Hewitson, gave presentations on their projects, which receive funding from the EU's Seventh Framework Programme.
