Registration for Theatre in Africa conference opens

The online registration process for the annual conference of the International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR) is now open and available online.

The conference, titled Theatre in Africa - Africa in the Theatre, is to be held at The HB Thom Theatre Centre and the Arts Building, University of Stellenbosch, from 10-14 July. It's hosted by the Centre for Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Stellenbosch, in association with its Department of Drama, the South African Theatre Journal and Consultus.

The main focus of the 2007 IFTR conference is the relationship of Africa with the rest of the world and the way this is driven by and reflected in theatre and performance across the globe.
