University of Cape Town (UCT) student, Thabisa Dinga is teaching young people life skills through her passion for music and dance. Dinga, who hails from KwaLanga, is currently completing a Master of Music degree at UCT’s South African College of Music.
Dinga is involved in many community programmes which includes a UCT outreach programme that teaches young learners from KwaLanga about indigenous African instruments and how to play them. She also teaches contemporary dance to young people from townships in Cape Town at the Guga S’thebe Arts and Culture Centre in KwaLanga.
