Student Wellness Service continues to make individual and group debriefing sessions available for students.

* As of Monday, 16 September, the debriefing sessions and crisis interventions offered by the Student Wellness Service are no longer being offered to students.

The events of the past few weeks have been both difficult and emotional for many students on University of Cape Town campuses. In response, the university’s Student Wellness Service (SWS) has arranged for the continuation of individual and group debriefing sessions for students who may need assistance.

With regards to residences, the SWS will continue with debriefing sessions after hours as student requests are received, and the capacity of the Crisis Intervention Service (also known as the night nurse) will be included for counselling. In addition to the debriefing sessions, all other clinical services at the SWS will remain operational.
