Settling in and services – Orientation 2023
There was plenty of foot traffic along UCT’s avenues, corridors and precincts as new students and their parents, guardians and sponsors made their way around campus to attend information sessions and guided tours, learning about the faculties and many support services available.

Festival of learning – Summer School 2023
It was back in-person, with a buffet offering of lectures, music, tours, and practical classes. The 73rd University of Cape Town (UCT) Summer School, which ran from 9 to 28 January, was a festival of open learning, also showcasing UCT’s excellent research.
