SRC and Student Faculty Council elections commence online

Dear students

The UCT Election Commission is pleased to announce that SRC and Student Faculty Council elections are underway and will be conducted entirely online.

We are committed that these elections must be free and fair at every stage of the process. We wish to invite students run for the leadership positions in Student Faculty Councils and the SRC.

Nominations open today, 24 August 2020, and close:

  • on 9 September for the Student Representative Council (SRC) and
  • on 11 September for Student Faculty Councils.
