Honour for one of our own

Cup runneth over: Megan Morris with his trophy for outstanding sports journalism.

Monday Paper received this letter from the UCT Athletics Club, lauding our own very modest but excellent sports reporter, Megan Morris.

"This year the UCT Athletics Club has enjoyed excellent coverage almost every week in UCT's Monday Paper. Our athletes also featured prominently in UCT Sport and Recreation's annual glossy magazine. This was mostly due to the efforts of club member Mr Megan Morris who is a staff member in UCT's Department of Communication and Development. A keen runner himself, he attended many athletics events this year, capturing these in many great photographs. To honour his efforts, we presented Megan with a trophy for Outstanding Sports Journalism."
