Unice Vorster was scheduled to represent Western Province in the 8km race at the SA Cross Country Championships, staged over the past weekend in Bloemfontein.

Lauren Stewart won the Cape Town 10km race held in Observatory on Sunday, September 11. Associate Professor Kevin Rochford was third in his age group at the Cape Town Marathon - run at the same time - that doubled as the WP Marathon Champs.
