The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Vice-Chancellor Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng encourages staff to be ambassadors for the university’s Vision 2030 campaign.

UCT’s Vision 2030 campaign is about unleashing human potential to create a fair and just society. As part of the campaign, staff will be able to collect an exclusive UCT Vision 2030 T-shirt as a pledge of commitment to the project.

Sustainability is one of the key pillars of Vision 2030 and this initiative forms part of the Khusela Ikamva (Secure The Future) Sustainable Campus Project. The project sees the university using its campuses as living laboratories for collective innovation to reduce the ecological footprint and make UCT and the society more sustainable.
