UCT celebrates 40th anniversary of the first heart transplant
On 3 December this year, Groote Schuur Hospital and the University of Cape Town will be celebrating 40 years since the first successful human heart transplant by Professor Christiaan Neethling Barnard and his team of medical professionals.

UCT and Amalgamated Transport Services enter into agreement on section of Jammie Shuttle route
The University of Cape Town and Amalgamated Transport Services have signed a memorandum of understanding concerning the transport routes between the Mowbray and Claremont taxi interchanges and the Jammie Shuttle terminus on the Lower Campus.
