Resumption of face-to-face university operations The University of Cape Town (UCT) will commence with the teaching and learning programme and research operations face-to-face on Monday, 20 February 2023. 19 Feb 2023

Submissions to the independent panel In the communique of 9 February 2023, it was confirmed that the Panel established by the Council of the University of Cape Town (UCT) is authorised to interview current and former members of staff as well as current and previous members of UCT’s Council. 16 Feb 2023

TB Davie Memorial Lecture nominations and other updates The TB Davie Memorial Lecture hosted by the Academic Freedom Committee is an opportunity to affirm and clarify the values of academic freedom in a contemporary context, and to stimulate debate.
