Resumption of face-to-face university operations
The University of Cape Town (UCT) will commence with the teaching and learning programme and research operations face-to-face on Monday, 20 February 2023.

Update on developments on campus
UCT management was of the understanding that the university would be in a position to resume face-to-face teaching and learning, and research programmes, from this morning, Friday, 17 February 2023.

Submissions to the independent panel
In the communique of 9 February 2023, it was confirmed that the Panel established by the Council of the University of Cape Town (UCT) is authorised to interview current and former members of staff as well as current and previous members of UCT’s Council.
