Dear colleagues and students
Further to the vice-chancellor’s recent communication on bargaining matters, especially Professional, Administrative Support and Service staff bargaining engagements, UCT management met with the Employees Union (EU) executive leadership on Saturday, 10 February 2024 to address issues raised in the memorandum of demands handed over on Thursday, 8 February.
The engagements continue, and good progress has been made. Details will be communicated to the UCT community on resolution of the issues.
