Ms Macha started her PhD studies in 2016 under the supervision of Professor Diane McIntyre, South African Research Chair: ‘Health and Wealth’ in the Health Economics Unit. Ms Macha had previously worked at the Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania. Professor McIntyre said: “We are absolutely devastated at the loss of such a wonderful young researcher.”
