15 May 2009
Students at the Faculty of Commerce have launched a new magazine, Student.com, in partnership with Nedbank Private Bank. The magazine, edited by final-year student Katekani Baloyi, is intended as a tool for the university to showcase the faculty and attract talented matriculants to the various commerce programmes. Dean of the faculty, Prof Melvin Ayogu, said UCT is committed to exploring innovative ways of attracting talented students from across the country. Student.com was launched by Springbok rugby player Tonderai Chavanga on 14 May. In picture are Baloyi (left) and Alfred Ramosedi, managing director of Nedbank Private Bank.
