Smuts and Fuller call alumni together

31 March 2006
FULLER and Smuts Halls on Upper Campus first opened their doors to students way back in 1928, and to celebrate the event the two residences will join forces in hosting their diamond reunions from December 12–14 this year.

In preparing for the gathering, wardens and residence committees from both residences are urging alumni who set up camp at either of the two locales to contact UCT soonest if they have not already received notification. The reunions promise to be exciting events with plenty of opportunities to reminisce and catch up with old friends.

More information on the reunions can be found at the residences' respective websites for Fuller Hall or for Smuts Hall.

Here there will be details on the proposed programmes and how to go about registering for the event, among other things.

Alumni can also find out more by putting pen to paper and writing to The Warden, Fuller Hall or Smuts Hall, University of Cape Town, Rondebosch, 7701, South Africa. Emails can also be directed to either Sue Folb (Fuller Hall) or Professor Danie Visser (Smuts).
