Sports day on September 18

Don't forget to diarise the 175 family sports day this Saturday, September 18, presented by the UCT Rugby Club and the Department of Communication and Development. Highlights will include the rugby match between the FNB UCT first XV and a visiting Cambridge University side at 16h15, before which vice-chancellor Prof Njabulo Ndebele will unveil a commemorative 175 rugby plaque to mark the occasion. There will also be a few "oldies" rugby matches, entertainment for the kids, stand-up comedian Kurt Schoonraad for those in need of laughs, and other sporting activities. And prizes. The UCT 175 Rugby and Family Sports Day is open to all staff and their families, students, as well as alumni and their families. The fun kicks off at 11h00.
