On Friday, 24 May, the University of Cape Town (UCT) proudly announced and welcomed Professor Mosa Moshabela as its 11th vice-chancellor, with his tenure beginning on 1 October 2024.
Professor Moshabela joins UCT from his role as deputy vice-chancellor for research and innovation at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, bringing a wealth of experience and visionary leadership in research, innovation, and strategic partnerships. UCT looks forward to his transformative and values-based leadership.
