University of Cape Town (UCT) Vice-Chancellor Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng hosted the annual Women’s Day event, which was held online, on Tuesday, 10 August.
Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida delivered the keynote address while UCT alumna Lana Crowster and the UCT Centre for Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies entertained guests with music and dance. The event also provided space for UCT’s For Womxn By Womxn research grant recipients to showcase their work.
