Unleashing the new global university is a series of virtual events in which we invite innovative, international and local speakers to have challenging conversations that help us rethink global collaborations for a sustainable and equitable planet.
The second part of the conversation on the topic "How virtual can we go?" was hosted by the UCT Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, on 29 June 2020 and moderated by Professor Kelly Chibale.
In this video Dr Katye Altieri and Assistant Professor Esther Ngumbi discuss their experiences as early career researchers and the opportunities offered by virtual conferencing. Professor Phakeng wraps up the event.
