UCT hosts IARU Presidents’ Meeting

The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Mosa Moshabela recently hosted the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU) Presidents’ Meeting from 3 to 6 March, where 11 leading universities from around the world gathered to speak about, among other topics, research, innovation, collaboration, value creation, leadership diplomacy and strategic influence. The programme also included the VC’s Open Lecture, which was delivered by University of Oxford VC, Professor Irene Tracey, on Thursday, 5 March.
