The launch of the Climate Transparency Report 2021 will take place online on Thursday, 14 October, via Zoom. The event will kick off at 14:00.

Referred to in the past as the Brown to Green Report, it is a collaborative effort involving G20 countries, including the Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG) at the University of Cape Town (UCT).

The report has been developed by experts from 16 partner organisations, the majority of which are G20 nations. It provides a comprehensive overview of G20 climate action,  informs policy-makers and stimulates debate. And thanks to its visually attractive layout, it also serves as a useful reference for climate action decision-makers.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the G20’s climate action towards net-zero, and its key findings. The afternoon line-up will also include an analysis presentation, as well as a presentation on climate transparency in partner countries.

Register for the event.
