Dr Solomon Benatar, Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Cape Town (UCT) presented the second annual Dr Stuart John Saunders Lecture on 27 November 2019.

He addressed the disconnects in South Africa between healthcare policies and their implementation during his speech entitled ‘Healthcare and Professionalism in the 21st Century’.
