Students wrote papers on a range of subjects, including politics, applied mathematics, psychology, finance and accounting. Students wishing to defer an exam are reminded about the deferment procedures.

All UCT Libraries are open. The Vincent Kolbe Knowledge Commons re-opened today, but the Library Learning Lounge remains closed. The Hlanganani 24/7 Study Area will be open tonight.

Approximately 4 500 students wrote exams on a variety of subjects in the exam centre on the UCT rugby fields yesterday. Although there were some minor delays with students getting through the ID controls, the system has been working smoothly thus far.

Students who wish to defer an exam are reminded to read the notice on application for deferring exams by Dr Karen van Heerden, the deputy registrar, who outlines the conditions regarding deferment.
